June 23: WCA Annual Dinner and the installation of the new board and officers
    There are no regularly scheduled membership meetings in July and August.
September 22  6:30 p.m.
 
Our garden committee meets every Tuesday at the clubhouse from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. rain or shine. All are welcome.

May 2 -- The WCA will host a First Friday Art Show organized by the participants of the May 3rd Arts and Crafts show. additional information

Garden Committee

Our garden committee meets every Tuesday at the clubhouse from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. rain or shine. All are welcome.
Our next meeting is January 15th at 6:30 p.m.  Efforts will be focused on pruning back overgrown trees, weeding and planting of annual beds.
In the event of rain we will review archives either at the club house or at the library.  
One designated meeting day each month will be spent touring a fellow city gardener's garden.

We will be planning and discussing:
Developing ideas for the restoration of the back garden
New York in Bloom
Edith Wharton and the Big Read; bus trip to The Mount
Reception for participants in the Front Yard Tulip Contest
Do an event associated with the Tulip Fest and the Trolleys in which Judy Stacey would narrate
Naming of the 2008 WCA tulip
making garden stones with youngsters
