Who is Linda Smith?

A student of the earth, (and former farmer) avid gardener and flavor profiler, Linda has been seeking the healing properties of the planet since childhood Her mother, a scratch cook, taught Linda to look for wonderful flavors to enhance each and every dish. The same is true with blending teas. Linda takes her years of plucking and growing and puts together only the highest quality certified organic teas. 

            “Tea blending has given me opportunities to play with more of the weeds, flowers, roots, barks and bushes while creating tasty and healthful blends.” Linda is a graduate of the University of Denver, Colorado, with a degree in Business and Hotel and Restaurant Management.  She has been deep within the movement of the Food world for most of her life having numerous experiences in cooking at 3 and 4 star restaurants, Chef/Innkeeper of an island plantation in Vieques, Puerto Rico, working domestically and around the world with the Sheraton Hotel Corporation, and expanding single unit operations into multi-unit retail gourmet food and wine shops, catering businesses and cafes.  She now consults to the Natural/Food and Beverage and Coffee/Tea House businesses.

            “Tea blending has always been my passion. I’ve been snipping, lovingly, herbs and flowers and making infusions for over 20 years. Incorporating them into food is great fun!
